Book 3 and the Conclusion for the Monroe Trilogy is upon us. Alice and Damon has taken me on a great ride on their roller coaster romance. Book 3 picks up where book 2 left off. Alice is so deeply in love with Damon and they are now married and in the process of trying to take his dad down, come to terms with being married and all the craziness of the hasty marriage. Its twists and turns, along with a possibly pregnancy going along with the hot, sexual heat that goes hand in hand with their bedroom play. They are building a life super fast. Is Damon really serious about Alice or is this part of his plans to get back at his dad? Alice doesn’t know but what she does know is she is so madly in love that she would go anywhere and do anything for Damon. The intrigue, mystery, passion, love, and roller coaster ride still goes all the way to the blockbuster ending. I enjoyed all three parts of this story and cannot wait for what is next from Ms. Dane.

Conculsion of the Monroe Trilogy - 5 stars
Damon and Alice have put their plan in motion and are determined to make it work. Alice has become a totally different person from who she was when she first met Monroe at The Dark Hour. She never expected to marry a multibillionaire, let alone help him take over his family businesses. Damon's father is determined to get rid of her, one way or another. When Alice starts putting two and two together, she comes up with some extremely worrisome conclusions. Though Damon was led to believe that his mother had abandoned him when he was a child, Alice helps him come to terms with what really happened to his mother at his father's hand.
With the three of them working together to take down his father, will they all survive the potential fall out? Will there be a new Monroe joining the family? Being able to help her parents and brother means a lot to Alice, but can she survive being married to Damon with the pure hatred his father has for her?

Damon has always been the model son to Russell, except for when it came to marrying the right woman; but in Alice, Damon has found his soul-mate and the only way they can stay together, without interference, is by ousting Russell from his company. They have a plan. Damon is prepared to risk his reputation and inheritance for Alice and to share his power, money and influence with her; meanwhile, she works tirelessly behind the scenes. Obsessing over everything that is going on in her life, her marriage, her future as a wife and mother, the man who wants her dead if he cannot get her to leave on her own, money, her parents and their disapproval, Candice not knowing who her friend is anymore, the thought of not performing the way Damon needs her to, causes Alice to start getting panic attacks. Damon wants a woman he considers his equal and Alice is more than capable even if she doesn’t believe it. Russell continues to harass Alice, and again her life is threatened, not once but twice, and what did Clarise, Damon’s great grandmother, have to do with her? Natsuko too finds herself involved with both Monroes, but now she has been sent to broker a marriage between herself and Russell, but Natsuko has her own secrets. Russell implies Damon is being unfaithful to Alice with Natsuko. Russell wants Alice gone and what better way for that to happen that turn her against Damon. Damon has spent his whole life following Russell’s script, but that all changed when he met Alice and followed his own path. Together they would be the most powerful couple in the world, that is why Damon was fated to come into her life; her pain was his, his power was hers – they were true equals. This was not just Damon’s company - this was her legacy too. Alice is not ashamed about what she has with Damon, the man who came into her place of work one night and changed her life forever. He stained her, trained her and together they would reign over the vast, global empire they have carved out as their own. Alice Culver never dreamed of a world like this for herself, but Alice Monroe she has many standards to adhere to. An excellent conclusion to a wonderful trilogy and a story I would have no hesitation in recommending. It was very well-written, had a very interesting storyline and was a pleasure to read. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Alice finally became the woman she was mentioned to be!!! She avoided being killed by her father in law! She took over the company. Powerful female getting it all!
